MISSION STATEMENT OF THE MOVIN’ MAVS ADAPTED SPORTS AND RECREATION

The mission of Wheelchair Basketball/Adapted Sports (WCBB/AS) must be to enhance the mind, body, and spirit of students and other eligible individuals by providing programs, services, and facilities that are responsive to the physical, social, recreational, competitive and lifelong educational needs of the campus community as they related to health, fitness, and learning.

The program organizes competitive sport and recreation opportunities for students with disabilities and serve as a resource for our community for coaching and participation information.
