The President's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports seeks to serve as a catalyst to promote health, physical activity, fitness and enjoyment for people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities through participation in physical activity and sports. We promote and oversee the President's Challenge Physical Activity and Fitness Awards Program; advance the Physical Activity pillar of the President's HealthierUS initiative; promote May National Physical Fitness and Sports Month; and work with partners to advance physical activity and sports participation nationwide.
